Last week provided the perfect weather for getting outside, so we were game for wandering around our favorite stomping grounds to photograph a fantastic couple. We can't wait to photograph Sara and Nik's wedding this fall, but we couldn't resist a summertime engagement session.
We started our walk down in Milwaukee's Third Ward. One of our favorite spots to grab a bite to eat, a drink with some friends, and, of course, photograph. Sara and Nik spent many days studying at the coffee shops and date nights in the area, so this seemed a wonderful place to meet. They also brought along their adorable french bulldog Ned (named after Ned Stark because Game of Thrones is amazing), who definitely stole the show.
After a while we decided to head over to Marquette's campus. These two are both Marquette alumni, so they led me on a tour of the beautiful grounds.
We like to keep things fun and casual, and the "in between shenanigans" always seem to make it into the photographs :)
After a walk around campus we ended at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel located inside the grounds. A beautiful way to end with a beautiful couple. I can't wait to photograph their wedding, which will undoubtedly be a reflection of Sara and Nik's playful, loving friendship.
